The Korea Stewardship Code, “Principles on Institutional Investors’ Fiduciary Duties” presents seven detailedprinciples and guidelines that institutional investors should implement to fulfil their fiduciary duties.
ABOUT KCGS
The Korea Corporate Governance Service (KCGS) contributes to improvement of corporate governance and development of capital markets through creation and revision of ESG codes of practice, ESG evaluation and Best ESG Company awards, proxy advisory service, academic research and conferences. More recently, its crucial role as an institution that supports establishment and implementation of the Korea Stewardship Code has attracted attention. This website is created and managed by KCGS with an aim to facilitate institutional investors’ accessibility to Stewardship Code-related information and give due weight to the Code.

ABOUT VIP
Voting Information Plaza (VIP) is a portal that offers useful information for exercising voting rights.
On this portal, visitors can see at a glance and easily compare institutional investors’ voting records and shareholder proposal details, and other information about shareholders’ meetings. The portal also provides specific data about institutional investors, including their opposition percentages, the status of the adoption of responsible investment principles or stewardship code, and the existence of a team or capacity dedicated to voting.
