Notice [SC Report] Women Directors in Korean Listed Firms 2023.05.11

  • Research into the ratios of women directors of all listed firms by year shows an increase from 2.88% in 2015 to 5.10% in 2021.

  • After the final promulgation of the law concerning gender diversity on boards (Feb.2020), in particular, female directors working in a business group subject to limitations on cross-shareholding more than doubled from 2.85% in 2020 to 6.70% in 2021.
